Romeo Beckam for Burberry

It's not a secret David Beckham is one of the hottest men of all times. And I think a new hottie is on its way, namely his 10 year old son, Romeo. Normally I don't like when children of famous people are put in unusual situations that are supposed to act like they are grown up. Let children be children! Let them play, have fun, and get dirty. If you know what I mean.

But when that is said, I think the new Burberry campaign starring Beckham junior is just awesome. It seems like little Romeo is having a great time, he is smiling and jumping around during the whole video like he owns the place. And he totally does! He even makes the serious model smile once. And for me, I smiled through the entire video. And just imagine how handsome this guy will be in some years. Mark my words.

If you haven't seen the campaign yet, check it out here, and get charmed by this adorable kid you too:

New week means new nails

So. I've wanted to share this brilliant new addiction of mine for quite a while. I actually got this before Christmas, that means I should have shown it a long time ago. But I've forgotten.

But better late then never. At least so they say.

I actually could have called this post DIY manicure. Cause that's what it is about..

Are you a girl who likes nail polish? But dislike that your nails look like this:

after like two days?

So I thought. Well, then keep reading.

After a friend of mine got this, all in our gang had to have it as well. Cause it is great. Every girl in to nailpolish should have it. Believe you me. What I'm talking about is a new kind of nail polish called GelLack that lasts for up till two weeks. Many stores in Norway (at least Cubus and SparKjøp) have it, and in every other country as well, I'm sure.

First you buy a set (it costs about 500 NOK) consisting of:

 1. A machine with UV lights to harden the nails (the nail polish doesn't dry by itself)

2. A set with a before and after cleaner, base coat and top coat.

Then you will need a nail polish (they are to be bought separately) – or five.

This is my collection so far (blank, white, dark purple, black and pink red) minus one (a sliver one). (Each one costs 80 NOK)

I would recommend not to buy that many colours, at least not right away. Start with a blank, then buy some "neutral" colors that go with most of your wardrobe. Since it lasts for a week or maybe even two, you should not get tired of it right away. It is also possible to use a blank, then a normal nail polish on top of it (NB after you've finished the top coat – do not harden the normal polish in the machine!) if you want that colour for one evening etc.

What you need for one session: cleaner, base coat, nail polish, top coat (and then the cleaner again in the end as well)

You should follow the instructions that come with the set. Be careful and accurate when you do your nails. It is no need to stress it, cause the nails won't dry anyway..!

Then the magic begins!

And after several rounds, you will get the final result:

New and shiny long lasting nails!

Now I just need to stop biting my nails so that I can do a French manicure soon... I'll show it to you when (if) I do.

PS: This is not a commercial for GelLack. I simply just recommend it from the bottom of my heart.

Ricco Vero SS13

I know this isn't a fashion blog, but it's been a while, so I allow myself to post this. Cause I really love Ricco Vero's Spring Summer 2013 collection. It makes me want summer so badly!

For the complete collection, check it out here. I really like it! Especially the beige leather jacket and the matching trousers. Perfection. And I wouldn't mind having that man either (But I don't think he is for sale..)

Take me to Paris

Lately I have been longing every single day (no kidding) about going to my favorite place on earth - Paris (where else?). It has felt like being away from someone you love for too long. Though it has been a while since I had someone special in my life, so I barely remember how that feels like. But you can say that Paris is as close as I get of having a lover.

Paris, c'est mon amour.

And now it is finally not that long till Paris and I will be reunited. In only three months from now! Well, I'm aware of that it is a while, but since time flies, soon it will be tomorrow! Just three exams away and voilà! Some people might wonder how I can be that excited about going to a city I have been to so many times before, why I don't want to go see new places instead. But I do. I do want to see new places. And I am from time to time. But with Paris is different. Paris is my second home. And everyone needs to go home every now and then, right? I have so many memories from there. I go there to keep remembering all those nice things I have done, in so many nice places, with so many nice people. And also, I always discover something new - streets, shops, cafés, etcetera - when in Paris. I am never finished with, nor tired of this beautiful city. It is simply just not possible. When it is true love, you just know it. And when you've found it, you'll stick with it.

These are some photos taken from my last couple of visits to the French capital

 Place de la Concorde

La Seine

My sister and some blurry postcards

Coiffeur means hairdresser in French, but this isn't a hairdresser, but a vintage shop that I happen to love

La Tour Eiffel in the distance seen from Tour Montparnasse

 My beautiful sister Eline

Me with my favorite Japanese man from the best Sushi place in Paris!

Jardin du Luxembourg

French family (don't they look French!?) taking a walk in the park

Father and son

An other vintage fave of mine

Crêpes - absolutely obligatory

Never getting tired of looking at this church - Sacre Coeur in my heart

You don't find places like this anywhere else

The wall of love, with (new) Norwegian represented: EG ELSKAR DEG

Street art at its best

Two of the coolest streets in Le Marais

Coffee served in the French way

 Rue Saint-Sauveur - with a saver

One out many passages.

Bracelets on a book.

Jewellery made out of an old Norwegian coin! I still regret I didn't buy it.

Everything, even a simple chair, looks beautiful in Paris

Why. Why don't we have shops like this in Norway...

If you wonder where is Wally, well, I found him in Paris

If you still doubt it - I ♥ Paris

Are you longing for Paris as much as I do, when you see these photos?

Btw, I promise you, I will make a Paris guide before going there in June.
